The Situation
A wooded parcel needed a house site, a septic area, and driveway access, with a stand of mature oaks near the road that the owners wanted kept.
What We Did
We walked and flagged the clearing limits with the owners before starting so the keepers were unambiguous. Merchantable timber was separated and sold, offsetting part of the job. Stumps were excavated out completely across the building footprint and septic field.
Result
Buildable site with the oaks intact, timber value returned to the owner, and no stumps left to settle under the foundation.
